Planning the first trip, Dec, 2006
With just under 3 months to go before we planned to go on our snowboarding holiday we decided it would be a good idea to organise ski equipment and lessons for Tudur. All we knew was that we had seen people doing it in the Alps on previous holidays so we knew that it must be possible.
After doing some research on the internet we managed to find one Ski company that catered for disabled skiers. We got in contact with them and were informed that the Gostoli ski school in La Plagne was the best place to go in the Alps for disabled skiing.
So that being the case we booked it up and Tudur's first skiing experience was good to go.
